TSGS meets the second Tuesday monthly (except July & August) at Willard Library. We are dedicated to genealogical education & research. Since we are located on the Ohio River, our members' quarterly journal The Tri-State Packet is named after the Packet line that carried cargo along the river. This Blog is an update to that river traffic with our "beefed-up" TSGS Cruiser!

Hello, my name is John G. West, TSGS first official blogger! I have no idea what I am doing, but several TSGS members have promised to help me. You can make me look good, though, by submitting some articles, stories, photos, etc. that somehow relate to genealogy. Maybe some research tips or interesting research stories. I will have to edit what is submitted to make sure the content is appropriate & is not too long. Please avoid submitting genealogical queries (there are better places to post them); however, I will consider interesting, intriguing mysteries or stories. I will only publish one article on any one day, but I will let you know how many are ahead of you.
