Marker/Plaque/Monument Monday - Viet Nam War

'
This plaque is at the dead end of the brick Main Street west of the Civic Center. As you look at this plaque you are facing the north end of the new Ford Center (photo was taken while the arena was still fenced in during construction).

Monument dedicated 29 January 1973. There are more names and the date on the other side of the monument.

The date is on the back with other names 29 January 1973.

I just got 2 comments about the dedication date of 29 Jan 1973 with additional soldiers that died in Viet Nam. As I had mentioned I just accidently found this marker because my mission was to take some photos of the new arena being built did not think to look on the back side... thanks for letting me know. Don I will post the backside photo you sent tomorrow!

Don your guess that the new item on the blog is the "search engine" is not correct. You need to look much lower on the page!

Sorry, but try again! :)

Ok, is it the view site stats button at the very bottom of the blogs?

Thanks, Anonymous, but it is not the stats button at the bottom of the page.

You need to look a little higher!

The new addition was really needed and Iam sorry that I did not think of it sooner! Keep looking.
